Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Nasr.ai works and how information may be processed when you visit the website or use its AI chat.

1. Website operator

Nasr.ai is operated independently from Malta. For privacy-related questions, contact Privacy@Nasr.ai.

2. Information you submit

When you submit a message, Nasr.ai sends that message together with a limited amount of recent conversation history to a serverless function hosted by Vercel. The function forwards the request to DeepSeek’s API so that a context-aware response can be generated.

Messages may contain personal information if you choose to include it. Do not submit passwords, payment-card details, identity documents, medical records, confidential business information or other highly sensitive content.

3. Browser storage and conversation history

Nasr.ai uses your browser’s local storage to save conversation titles and messages on your device. This allows conversations to remain available after refreshing or reopening the website. The website does not intentionally maintain its own central conversation database.

You can delete an individual conversation using the delete control beside its title. You can also remove all locally stored conversations by clearing Nasr.ai’s site data in your browser.

Deleting a conversation removes the copy stored in that browser. It cannot automatically delete information that may already have been processed or retained by third-party service providers.

4. Information sent for AI processing

To provide useful context without sending an unlimited history, the current website sends a maximum of the 20 most recent messages from the selected conversation. Older messages may remain visible in your browser but are not included once they fall outside that limit.

5. Technical information

Hosting and infrastructure providers may process routine technical information such as IP address, request time, browser details and security logs as part of operating and protecting their services. Nasr.ai does not intentionally add its own analytics or advertising trackers in the current version.

6. Service providers

DeepSeek provides the AI model that processes submitted messages and generates replies. Its privacy policy explains how it handles information.

Vercel hosts the serverless function that relays requests between the website and DeepSeek. Its infrastructure may process request and operational information.

GitHub Pages hosts the public website files and may process standard website-access and security information. Chat messages are sent from the browser to the Vercel endpoint rather than being stored in the GitHub Pages repository.

These providers may process information outside the European Economic Area under their respective policies and arrangements.

7. Retention

Conversation history remains in your browser’s local storage until it is deleted through Nasr.ai, removed through browser settings, or cleared with the browser’s site data. Nasr.ai does not intentionally maintain a dedicated central database of conversations in this version.

DeepSeek, Vercel and GitHub may retain submitted information or technical logs under their own policies, service settings and legal obligations. Nasr.ai cannot promise immediate or universal deletion from third-party systems.

8. Legal basis and your rights

Messages are processed to provide the AI response you request and to operate and protect the service. Depending on the circumstances, applicable data-protection law may give you rights concerning access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and complaints to a supervisory authority.

In Malta, privacy complaints may be made to the Office of the Information and Data Protection Commissioner. Requests relating directly to information held by DeepSeek, Vercel or GitHub may also need to be addressed to the relevant provider.

9. Cookies, local storage and analytics

Nasr.ai does not intentionally use advertising or analytics cookies. It uses browser local storage to retain conversations and their titles on your device. Local storage is not used by Nasr.ai for advertising or behavioural tracking.

This section will be updated if analytics, embedded media, user accounts or other features are added later.

10. Children

Nasr.ai is not designed for children. Users should not submit personal information about a child.

11. AI limitations

AI responses can be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable. Nasr.ai is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial or other specialist advice.
